The field for the four day event is one of the deepest it has seen in years. The 93^rd edition of the PGA Championship will be played in Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek, Georgia on the Highlands Course. The PGA Championship is golf’s fourth and last major of the year and is shaping up to be the most competitive of the four. The field is the strongest of any of the four majors. Defending champion Martin Kaymer from Germany has had an up and down season this year following his win last year. The course is playing incredibly tough and most likely will see the winner close to par or even over par for the four day tournament.

Many of the defending champions will be in the field and this year’s championship will be contested by the toughest field thus far. David Toms won on this long course of over 7,400 yards and it will take a fairly long hitter but also one that hits the ball straight. The rough is unforgiving and if you stay in the rough too much then your approach shots will not be close to the pin, result you will not win.
